한국여성단체연합 등 여성·시민사회·인권단체 180여곳이 공동으로 주최하는 제27회 3·8 세계여성의 날 기념 한국여성대회가 다음달 2일 광화문에서 돌봄노동자 권리찾기 캠페인을 시작으로 다채롭게 진행된다. 이번 대회의 슬로건은 ‘그녀에게 빵과 장미를’이다. 이들 단체는 27일 "생존권(빵)과 인권(장미)을 외쳐야 하는 여성의 현실을 알리고 사회를 변화시킬 힘을 모으는 자리가 될 것"이라고 밝혔다.
이들 단체는 대회기간 동안 올해의 여성운동상 시상, 성평등 디딤돌·걸림돌 발표, 성차별을 직접 체험해 보는 '체인지 가든'과 플래시몹, 캠페인 ‘사랑해요 고마워요 축하해요’ 등 행사를 온·오프라인에서 진행한다. 주최측은 3월 한 달간 워킹맘·미혼모·장애 여성의 모성과 건강권, 식당 여성노동자들의 삶을 사례 중심으로 블로그(38women.co.kr)에 올려놓고 여성 의제를 확산시킬 계획이다. 9일에는 양대 노총이 참여하는 생생여성노동행동과 함께 ‘일하는 여성, 복지국가를 묻는다’를 주제로 각계각층의 복지 전문가들을 초청해 서울 여의도 한국노총에서 토론회를 개최한다.
